Tag Heuer SLR Laptimer Chronograph

Tag Heuer have a long established relationship with Mercedes in the field of motorsport and more recently in a line of watches inspired by the Mercedes McLaren SLR. The latest watch is the Tag Heuer SLR Laptimer Chronograph which features the Calibre S electro-mechanical chronograph movement which can measure times of up to a hundredth of a second. The Tag Heuer SLR Laptimer Chronograph will be available in limited quantities this fall from Tag Heuer stores.

RENNtech Mercedes SLR McLaren 722 PKG2

The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren may be on its way out, but that doesn't mean there can't be more horsepower extracted from the supercar. The original had 617hp. Then came the SLR 722, which despite its name had 650 horses underhood. The 722's American importer, RENNtech, addressed the perception gap with its first package, boosting output to an eponymous 722hp. Never satisfied to leave well enough alone, RENNtech has now released its second package for the SLR 722 that further boosts power to 740 thanks to a revised ECU and a freer-flowing exhaust system.

While RENNtech's PKG1 went for a solid $12,900 (come on, what's a lousy $13k on the price of such a supercar?), the new PKG2 costs a heftier $26,990, plus an extra $7,800 for the optional Signature 10-spoke 20-inch rims, which can be had in chrome, satin-ceramic or "sniper gray" finishes. The SLR won't be leaving without a final swan song.

The Pagani Zonda Cinque is the street legal version of the Zonda R racing version of the unique Zonda. The Cinque features the same AMG V12 engine which has been used in different iterations throughout the history of the Zonda, the engine of the Zonda Cinque outputs six hundred and seventy eight horsepower and gives it a top speed of three hundred kilometers an hour. The name Cinque derives from the fact that only five examples will be made.

G-Power M6 Hurricane

One of the world’s fastest and most powerful convertibles is made by G-POWER. 635hp and 635 Nm torque; these are the attributes of the latest G-POWER development for the BMW M6.

Being a straight offshoot from the legendary G-POWER M5 HURRICANE BI-Kompressor system with 730hp, the G-POWER BI-Kompressor system EVOI is a less radical alternative to achieve the desired increase in power output for all current V10 engines coming from the M-GmbH.

Thanks to the so called G-POWER “softcharging” technique, featuring a relative boost of 0,4 bar, the additional stress and wear for the engine and drivetrain is kept to a minimum, despite of the impressive increase in power output. Especially the acceleration performance in mid range, a weak point of the fast-revving concept favored by the engineers of the M-GmbH, underlines the dominance of the G-POWER BI-Kompressor system. Equipped with the G-POWER BI-Kompressor EVOI system the BMW M6 is finally capable of that superior performance characteristic most customers would have expected from the beginning.

Acceleration performance benefits from the perfect performance characteristic of the G-POWER equipped V10 engine accordingly. With a sprint time from rest to 100 km/h of 4.6 seconds and to 200 km/h in 11,9 seconds the 2-ton convertible accelerates like a true sports car. The 300-km/h barrier is shattered after 34,5 seconds from standstill. Contrary to the production car the G-POWER M6 HURRICANE convertible is not limited electronically to a top speed of 250 km/h but to 320 km/h. The determining factors therefore are weight, tyres and most important the soft top of the M6 convertible.

The G-POWER M6 HURRICANE convertible is available as a fully converted car starting at 183,000 Euros. Any existing M6 – sedan and wagon – can also be upgraded with the G-POWER BI-Kompressor system EVOI along with numerous items from the extensive G-POWER tuning accessories lineup. Scorpion Supercar

According to Ronn Motors, the Scorpion supercar will not only achieve 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, but also earns green credentials by getting 40 miles per gallon. This trick is achieved by having a hydrogen-hybrid engine under the hood (also known as hydrogen injection, Water4Gas or HHO.) Small doses of hydrogen are generated and fed into the fuel mixture, making for a more efficient burn. Apparently this technology is a little controversial, but that hasn't stopped Ronn from putting together a bloody good looking car around that special engine, as the second photo underlines.

Best of all, though there's no hints on pricing and the car is still in prototype stage, it may be available in a limited run as soon as Fall this year.

Christian Dior - "My Dior" phone

Christian Dior has branched out into the mobile/cellular phone universe with the "My Dior" phone, by ModeLabs. It took three years to develop the clamshell, which will be available in two versions: a $5,000 basic version and a $26,000 luxury version, which features a 2.6 touch screen with an integrated media player and is decorated with 640 stones of 3,251 carats of Swarovski crystals imprinted on a crocodile skin case. Ringtones are proposed to be Dior's voice as well as music. Look for marketing to begin this month. This phone is just beautiful, but I'd be terrified of dropping or losing it!

Montblanc Skeleton 333 Limited Edition

The Montblanc Skeleton 333 is a tribute to the first skeletonised fountain pen made by Montblanc almost 10 years ago based on their popular Meisterstück pen. The Skeleton 333 is a skeleton pen featuring a transparent barrel with a platinum plated white gold latice skeleton. The nib is made of white gold which is plated in rhodium and is had carved whilst the cap features the Montblanc star inlayed out of mother of pearl. Only three hundred and thirty three will be made and will be available exclusively from Montblanc.

A partir de junho, a Samsung irá oferecer no Brasil o SGH-D880, celular que aceita dois SIM cards.

A vantagem é poder usar duas linhas telefônicas diferentes no mesmo aparelho, mesmo que elas sejam de operadoras e regiões diferentes. Dá para identificar se a linha em uso é do chip 1 ou 2, além configurar o celular para definir as prioridades para fazer ou receber chamadas e enviar mensagens. Também é possível ver os contatos de agenda de ambos Sim cards. É uma ótima solução para quem tem um celular pessoal e outro da empresa, por exemplo.

O SGH-D880 funciona em GSM/GPRS/EDGE e é triband (900/1800/1900 MHz). Tem câmera de 3,2 megapixels com auto-foco, tocador de música e rádio FM. Seu visor tem 2,3 polegadas de 262 mil cores.

A memória interna é de 45MB, com expansão por cartão micro SD até 2 GB (512 MB inclusos). O peso é 116 gramas e as dimensões são 104 x 51 x 18,9 mm.

O preço sugerido pelo fabricante do SGH-D880 é 999 reais.
